Busted!
So my girlfriend, Bianca, loves reading up on gossip sites - particularly Perezhilton.com, and just a bit ago she called me saying that she read an entry today that featured my high school alma mater, Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, CA.
It turns out that one of my basketball coaches, Greg Abbott, was the star of the show!
...but probably not in the kind of light he wished for:

I will admit that i was quick to come to a nasty conclusion about this news, but then I remembered a particular back story that is, for sure, the root to this evil. And take my word for it, I don't blame the guy. (fuck you randy wellen.)
But either way Abbott, keep the ish at home mayn!

A teacher from Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, CA, has just been arrested.
The reason?
Turns out the professor is locked up on narcotics and weapon charges!!!!
According to police sergeant Mike MacDonald, several anonymous 911 calls were received about the shady teacher.
One caller stated that he "had purchased drugs from a person he believed to be a teacher at Sunny Hills."
Sgt. MacDonald added that the "caller also said the person, who he identified as Abbott, had a weapon in his vehicle."
The teacher in question is 31 year-old Gregory Abbott, who has taught history at Sunny Hills for the past seven years. He is also the school's track coach.
Sgt. MacDonald stated that the Police Department's High School Resource Officer then contacted Abbott in his classroom and got permission to search his vehicle.
And shockingly enough, the search turned up some prescription drugs, some marijuana packaged for sale, and an unload shotgun.
Idiot!
Abbott posted his $25,000 bail.
Let's hope they keep him away from the children.
Something needs to be done about better screening teachers!!!

Open-er Part III
Okay. There's a fine line between being profound and being ignorant.
It was brought to my attention by Eric that "data" is actually the plural form of the word "datum"
My bad. :)
I've never heard anyone say "the datum is" though.

I just wanted to add: fuck the word "data" and its identical plural form.
The data are significant.

Under the Knife
I went to Crunchy's pad this past weekend with Eric and Andrew and started stripping down the beaut to her frame.
Here's Eric.
^^His dad decided to help us out, too.^^
Eric and I cleaned and degreased the parts. Here's my old dirty ass crank set.
Here's a bad picture of the yucky old grease gunk I saw after taking out the bottom bracket.
Not pictured, but the Mr. Miyagi-looking fellow who sold me my bike gave me a shadyyyy bottom bracket with its bearings destroyed!! Right when I took the bracket out, Eric and I saw little metal beads from the bearing fall out. He's lucky that I like that he reminds me and Bianca [my gf - check out her blog The CasaBianca.Blogspot.Com] of Mr. Miyagi - otherwise.. I'd go back to his effin store and...
...probably do nothing to him. I mean - it's Mr. Miyagi for Mr. Miyagi's sake!
Anyway, I'll be getting a new crank set and bottom bracket for myself. Crunchy found a deal on an Origin-8 crank set - 46 tooth chain ring.

I had originally planned to roll on my new black mags with a flat black painted frame, but that early morning in front of the paint guy at the home depot in fountain valley, I changed my mind. I mean, I still think black would've been fine, but I fell in love with this.
I proceeded with sanding off the super hideous covering shell that was considered my bike's paint job. Check out the sexy.

I guess this should've been my first post
The reason why I made this blog is because I wanted to track the progress of my newly acquired bike. It wasn't until this year that I got introduced into this world of riding. It started with my girlfriend's interest in bikes and bike rides that got me interested in it at first. We looked at a couple of pretty dope looking paul frank branded bikes that caught our eye.
Problem was that it was too expensive for me.
After my flavor for bikes died down a bit, a homie of mine introduced me to the early 90s-retroed rappin duo, the cool kids, who, besides sporting their freshh view of style and the rap game, ride their flyy dynos on flossin black mags along with their entourage:
Flavor renewed.
Along with this, a couple of my other boys started to sport their new rides:
cbas's dope fixie. (check out his blog at Talk Bikes )
eric's 2 fixies.
Plus a handle full of dope biking videos on youtube equated into this thought - "dang, i'm missin out man."
I wanted to be a part of this so my girlfriend and I sought out to find me my new ride. Came along obey's fuji fixed gear bike, but get slapped in the face with a 1200 dollar price tag. I knew I really wanted to ride, but that ish was too rich for my blood. So both my girlfriend and eric both suggested I make my own and from what my real first blog shows, I did.
So I'm new to the game - crazy poser status. But, then again, we all are at the beginning. Got the bloggin idea from my roomie jason's audi a3 progress blog Project a3
So just like that, keep checkin in to my blog for my biking blog extravaganza and some other random nonsense I feel like chattin about.
