Focus to Lose Focus

At what point does searching for truth within our lives and ourselves blind us from clear rationale and the obvious? Or when we strive for inner peace and peace with others only to find more turmoil and apathy?

Surely we have objectives and goals that we choose to define us and let dictate our actions and thinking, but we must sort these out and find to what worth it is to keep any one of them.

It is the idea of acceptance, a virtue worth more to embrace than any discovery that we've striven to maraud for.

Because what is "truth" anyway in a world of progressive thinking? To what end do we really care to find answers to questions and problems that really only prolong nonsense?

To believe and to have faith in our own defined truths.

To accept and have patience for the still unknown.
