HARDfest 13: The Prologue
To peaceTHIIZ, kaya, dation, ozziefuture, and suzie cute:
So I looked up prologue and it actually means the start to a play, not the final chapter. But then I thought, maybe it still applies..
To my HARDfest family: Take in what you've learned and experienced at the rave from all the sincere connections you felt: from our core group, from our friends we ran into inside, from all of the strangers that you immediately made best friends out of with no effort at all, and most importantly from the connection you made with yourself, your mind, your spirit, and your privileged ability to love.
And then with the same intensity and beat we played our hearts to during this state of infinite harmony, let everything that happens after the perfect night be the start of the play that we call our lives. It's a story we've had within us since the very beginning- let's write it with this new burning passion together, to the world, in celebration of its awakening.
You are a living testament that TRUE love exists. Friday, March 13, 2009 was indeed one of a kind..
..but let the early morning dawn of the next day and all the days to follow be forever known as the Prologue.

Dear SPOP Staff Applicant,
Thank you for applying to be part of staff for the UCI Student Parent
Orientation Program. Among the pool of more than 500 extremely qualified
applicants, it was very exciting to meet you. It was also incredibly
difficult to choose a staff of only 130 people from the large and
competitive pool of applicants this year.
But with that said, we are so excited that we will be working with you
this coming summer. In other words, Congratulations! You have been
selected to be part of the SPOP Staff for 2009...
..In keeping with tradition, we ask that you do not wear any apparel during
the training sessions that would indicate your affiliations with any
campus organization or mention your particular affiliations to other
staffers. We want you and your fellow staffers to get to know each other
on a personal level without the influence of affiliations.
Again, as the 2009 SPOP Coordinators, we would like to congratulate you
for being selected as a SPOP 2009 staff member. We are thrilled we will be
seeing you soon..

Superman vs. Man of Steel Part 2 - Shaq's Supposed Flop

LoL, I think I'm actually on to something here, I was joking at first, but I wonder who else has made this connection.
There has been a lot of heat between Shaq and Stan Van Gundy (Orlando Magic's Head Coach - Dwight's Coach) over this charge Shaq tried taking on Dwight Howard. Fake or not?
It's just some nice and healthy competition between the two lovable Goliaths of the NBA. Let's just leave it at that.

Zombie Attack
I've been having reoccurring zombie survival dreams lately. Nothing fluffy and cute about them either, but seriously real, raw, and scary shiz- but to the point where it's not a nightmare. I think it's because of the rush I got from trying to escape these brain-eating undead.
For a better picture, imagine yourself in a Night of the Living Dead-Dawn of the Dead-Friday the 13th-SAW I thriller ending-auto-biographical documentary-video game.
Any suggestions or thoughts as to what this all means... or foreshadows??!?!?!?!? ::cue in diabolical, echo-y life::
I'm gonna sleep with an AK-47 in my bed from now on..
..you know, to make the escape from the zombies a lot easier the next time.
